Rule 6 — Opposed Motion

  • 5 days: Notice to Oppose
  • 15 days: Answering Affidavit
  • If none: Set down on notice
  • 10 days: Replying Affidavit (optional)
  • 5 days: Set Down

Rule 36 — Discovery

  • 20 days: Discovery Affidavit
  • 10 days: Notice to Inspect
  • 10 days: Inspection Completed
  • 10 days: Further Discovery (if ordered)

Rule 37 — Pre-Trial

  • 15 days: Conference held
  • 10 days: Minute filed
  • 15 days: Compliance

All deadlines are in court days, excluding weekends and SA public holidays.
